A set of toolkits to help our researchers communicate effectively with policymakers and influencers.
Select committees animations
The following three animations set out why Parliament's select committees can be an important forum to showcase your research.
Policy briefing toolkit
These documents have been developed in conjunction with Linstock Communications, who work with a number of universities on public affairs and influencing policy. Linstock worked with some of our researchers during the development process, to understand their needs and ambitions.
A pilot training session on using the template and achieving policy influence has also been held to unveil the template to researchers, and feedback from this has been very positive. Policy@Manchester hopes to run more of these sessions in the future; please join the Policy@Manchester network to receive notifications of future sessions.
We are keen to hear from researchers who use the toolkit - and we are keen to promote all briefings produced, via online and social media channels.
