Policy Week

Manchester Policy Week

Running since 2012 and stretching across five packed days, our annual Policy Week brings together leading thinkers, academics, students and policy influencers to debate and progress key policy issues. The week features discussions, keynote lectures, workshops and masterclasses, role play sessions and even films.

The last Policy Week took place in November 2015, with the theme Science, Technology and Public Policy. It was part of European City of Science Manchester 2016.

Academics from right across the University lead or contribute to the programme, alongside expert representatives from numerous external organisations. It makes for a fascinating and informative week, during which ideas are generated and new relationships and partnerships are seeded.

Policy Week takes place at the University, but also at venues across campus and the city. Follow us on Twitter via @UoMPolicy or sign up to our mailing list, to be the first to hear news about future Policy Week events.
