On Space

Policy@Manchester’s publication On Space provides thought leadership and expert analysis from academics across The University of Manchester on the future of space policy and research.

The global space economy is projected to grow from an estimated £270 billion in 2019 to £490 billion by 2030 and with this growth brings great opportunities.

Articles in On Space demonstrate how pioneering research into the space sector will continue to help impact UK and international space policy through the development of home grown space capabilities, supporting international collaborations and the levelling up of our space economy. They also provide direct recommendations for policymakers on how these impacts can be addressed.
